The textbook contains basic information about the types and characteristics of ship fires, about the structural and organizational-technical provision of explosion and fire safety, and about the organization and tactics of extinguishing ship fires. Developed in accordance with the educational program for studying the discipline "Ship Survivability," within the section of disciplines "Ship Structure and Survivability," "Theory and Design of a Ship." Intended for cadets of military naval educational institutions and students of higher educational institutions and institutions of secondary vocational education, studying in military training centers, departments, and faculties of military education. It can be used in the training system of educational centers of the Navy.
