This book is an attempt by professors from Harvard Business School to systematize the results of many years of work by specialists in the fields of organizational behavior, psychology, economics, sociology, and law on studying the underlying causes of gender imbalance in society, particularly in office spaces. The authors' goal is, on one hand, to summarize the research findings for all those seeking to understand why gender equality remains elusive, to demonstrate organizational structures and types of thinking that contribute to perpetuating the gap, and on the other hand, to provide guidance on eradicating gender biases. It serves as a reminder that global changes - in public consciousness, business, and any other structures - are always the result of collective efforts of individuals dedicated to a common idea.
