The mysterious mill Sampo is needed by everyone. For some, it brings happiness, for others - wealth. The only thing that is unclear is where it is. Whether at the bottom of the sea, in the mountains, or maybe it's just a legend? The path to Sampo lies through solving riddles that hide the runes of Finnish tribes. But while one is ready to go this way to protect the mill, another intends to turn it into a weapon.
The rune singer Antero is used to looking more closely and listening more attentively than many. He is one of those people who do not consider the story of Sampo a fiction. Antero's nephew Toivo, the cheerful hunter Kauko, and the grumpy blacksmith Uno set off on a journey through all the Finnish lands with Antero. The team will have to gather the shards of ancient knowledge together.
