Speech development game
In front of you is a set of educational cards for speech development, featuring fun pictures and tongue twisters. They will help the child pronounce complex sounds, feel the rhythm, improve pronunciation, and allow for an enjoyable time with parents.
How to use the cards?
Tongue twisters are special speech exercises designed to practice the skill of pronouncing sounds or their combinations. They consist of two parts: the first involves repeating the syllable three times, by articulating it, the child automates the articulation skill. The second part is a short phrase that rhymes with the first part.
Thus, the last word in the phrase always ends with the stressed syllable repeatedly pronounced by the child. For example: 'Ar-ar-ar - a long sidewalk stretched'. It is advisable to repeat tongue twisters 2-3 times a day for 3-4 minutes each.
Once the child has mastered the correct pronunciation of tongue twisters, you can make the exercises more challenging.
- Gradually speed up or slow down the pronunciation tempo.
- Emphasize the stressed syllable, for example: 'You-you-you - beautiful tufts are growing'.
- Use pauses to emphasize the word with the reinforced sound.
When pronouncing tongue twisters, pay attention to unfamiliar words for the child and try to explain their meaning.
Inside you will find:
- 15 double-sided cards,
- instructions for parents.
Let's learn to speak correctly in a playful way!
For children over 3 years old.
