Sergey Pavlovich Dyagilev was one of the brightest and most influential figures of the Russian Silver Age - the editor of the magazine "World of Art", the organizer of numerous art exhibitions in Russia and Western Europe, including the Grand Tauride exhibition of Russian portraits in St. Petersburg (1905) and the exhibition Russian Arts in Paris (1906), the organizer of the Russian seasons abroad and the founder of the legendary troupe "Russian ballets". The person is unusually gifted and energetic, daring and even domineering, he possessed a subtle taste and a little, the ability to identify talents at the very beginning of their formation in people and give them a powerful impulse for development and formation.
