The purpose of this publication is to assist doctors (pediatric anesthesiologists-reanimatologists, oncologists, oncologists-hematologists) in timely diagnosis and treatment of sepsis developing against the background of therapy for malignant neoplasms. The content of the educational and methodological manual corresponds to the educational programs of higher education - the program for training highly qualified personnel in residency and additional professional development program for doctors specializing in "Pediatric Oncology" and "Pediatric Oncology-Hematology" (section "Treatment of malignant tumors"). It covers the clinical picture, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and selection of optimal therapy tactics for sepsis developing in the context of myelo- and immunosuppression, which is encountered in the clinical practice of pediatric oncologists-hematologists and pediatric anesthesiologists-reanimatologists. This educational and methodological manual was developed by the staff of the Research Institute of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology" of the Ministry of Health of Russia. The educational and methodological manual is intended for doctors - pediatric oncologists, pediatric oncologists-hematologists, anesthesiologists-reanimatologists, pediatricians, as well as residents and participants of professional development courses for doctors specializing in "Pediatric Oncology," "Pediatric Oncology-Hematology," and "Anesthesiology and Reanimatology."
