The proposed essay is a memoir and artistic reminiscence depicting her hero in specific historical, official and family circumstances, the description of which is based both on the documentary and on the author’s creative fiction.
Events are developing throughout the second half of the 20th century - at the end of the Stalin era, in the Khrushchev’s “thaw”, in the Brezhnev “stag”, in the Gorbachev “perestroika”, in the Yeltsin “democratization” - and at the beginning of the 21st century. The author of the narrative talks about the bright pages of the unusual career of his hero, who held various responsible positions in the party apparatus, in the diplomatic field, in the administration of the President of Russia and thus introduces the reader to the wide panorama of the country"s socio-political life in conflicting periods of its development
