This book is an attempt to look at the life and work of S. L. Frank with the external and from the inside. The author combines the analytical-epistemological and reconstructive-synthetic approaches, allowing to shed additional light on the formation of philosophical and religious views, as well as the life attitudes and positions of the great Russian philosopher. The work used both the latest research and archival materials, some texts of S. Frank are published for the first time.
