The monograph summarizes the results of studying changes in the dominant ancient Russian language consciousness, reflected in the grammatical structure and lexical composition of the Russian language, from the perspective of a comprehensive approach. Taking into account the complex interaction of concrete-spatial and abstract-spatial representations of the world in human perception, the emergence of the functional-semantic category of perfectivity, the formation of verbs with related stems, the history of verbs with spatial, emotive semantics, perception verbs, and the terminologization of Russian verbal vocabulary are considered.
