The creation of client Web applications on the Microsoft Silverlight 3 platform is available on the practical examples, it is shown how to independently create applications with rich functionality and a developed interface using exceptionally free tools. The basics of Web programming are briefly given, the principles of Silverlight programming are considered in detail. It is described about the Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition development environment, XAML and C # programming languages, which are created, respectively, the interface and logic of the SilverLight application.
