Oleg Yuriev entered the literature in the early 1980s in the Pleiad of "Late Petersburgers", for whom the classic of Leningradsky unzippered poetry - from Brodsky and Aronezon to Krivulin and Elena Schwartz - was already a given, demanding a partly acceptance, partly rejection. Conscious difficulty of the verse speech Yuryeva is a sign of belonging to a wide and diverse poetic movement for which the inheritance of tradition in its entirety is principled - from Lomonosov and Derzhavin to Mandelstam and Vaginov. The circle of the peers and some senior colleagues in Yuryev, confessing these values since 1991, since 1991, the Almana Camera Storage has been combined with Almana (his steering wheel, Yuriev stood with D. Zaks), and then - the Internet project of the same name. In the same year, Yuriev moved to Frankfurt am Main, from where his poems and the prose continue to come to the Russian literary scene - while the plays of Yuriev successfully entered the German staged context
