Seismic safety of buildings and territories

The study guide addressed the issues of seismic conjunction of the territories, designing seismous buildings and structures, certification of residential fund, semicaming and seismic insulation. Features of the examination and monitoring of buildings and structures in seismic regions, ways to eliminate earthquake consequences, features of design, operation and monitoring of unique construction sites, such as nuclear power plants and hydro-technical structures, in natural seismic conditions are noted. A separate chapter is devoted to the peculiarities of the flow of seismic origin and combustion reactions.
The manual also includes tasks for conducting practical training on the organization of emergency rescue work after an earthquake and to analyze the effectiveness of semicaming of buildings and structures of industrial facilities. In addition, a set of tasks for calculating combustion characteristics under conditions of adiabatic explosion and nonstationary burning is compiled.
