The current volume in the multi-volume edition "Security of Russia," carried out during the period 1998-2021 on the recommendations of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation dated 23.07.1997, is related to the approval of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation "On the Strategy of National Security of the Russian Federation" dated 02.07.2021 No. 400. The strategy of national security is a basic document of strategic planning that defines the national interests and strategic national priorities of the country, the goals and objectives of its state policy in the field of ensuring national security and sustainable development. In the implementation of the national security strategy, significant importance is attached to the formation, development, and use of scientific foundations, criteria base, defining equations on national security issues. This is in line with the requirements of state policy in the field of strategic planning to achieve the main strategic priorities of the country in the near (up to 2025) and distant (up to 2030-2035) perspectives. This volume is intended for leaders of state structures, leading specialists in academic and industry science, teachers, doctoral students, postgraduates, and masters of higher educational institutions dealing with and researching national security issues.
