This book is the first study written by the domestic author, which is devoted to the security issue of the Oracle DBMS. The book material is based on the practical experience of the author, obtained by him as a result of testing tests and extensive research activities in the field of DBMS.
The book was built in such a way that at first the reader is placed in the place of a potential attacker and studies all possible ways to gain access to the database, up to the search for new vulnerabilities and writing exploits. Having received enough knowledge about the main vulnerabilities of the DBMS and the methods of penetration, the reader moves to the second part of the book, in which the Oracle DBMS Protect Protection Methods are described in detail both using a secure configuration and following standards (in particular, PCI DSS) and with additional tools for ensuring IB.
The book is designed both security specialists and network administrators, developers and database administrators, as well as all those interested in information security issues
