The authors "secrets of neonatology and perinatology" proceeded from the dominant role of teaching in the bed of the patient and built a book so that she could serve as a directory for doctors who provide medical care for pregnant and newborn in hospital and outpatient and allowance for preparing for the exam. The word "secrets" suggests the idea of a secret knowledge, the authors, creating a book, sought to make information acquired by experienced doctors for many years of work. Each case submitted in the book can be considered as reference material for the use of a doctor in practical work, and as an element of a student training program. The exposition of the material is represented in such a way that a specialist or studying is keen on the world of the problem, and not into its particular part. As a result, each case marked as a secret determines the need for a detailed acquaintance with a large volume of scientific literature and not only on clinical aspects, but also on fundamental disciplines.
