The publication is a complete publication of all the protruding and census books known to date - a large Russian medieval city, one of the most important shopping centers. Pispene and census books are a valuable historical source widely used in research on the history of Russia. Collection documents significantly expand the source base of the study of the Russian city of XVII century. The sources published contain an extensive new material on socio-economic history, demographics, historical topography and other areas of life acknowledged.
