Ways and patterns of the evolutionary process

The attention of the readers is proposed to the book of the outstanding Soviet biologist, the theoretician of evolutionary teaching, academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences I.I. Schmalgauzen (1884-1963), dedicated to the orientation and patterns of evolution. Evolutionary factors, such as variability, struggle for existence, natural selection, isolation, individual adaptation, etc., are considered, various forms of evolution are described. The integrity of the body in changes in its ratios with the external environment is analyzed, the value of external and internal factors in determining the direction of evolution is determined.
