Lectures by I. Kant, logic, are not only a philosophical monument of the times of German education, but also have a topical character. In their form and tasks, they represent propaedeutics into philosophical issues and the philosophical method as a whole, and in content - a certain quintessence of German education. Their format itself determines a completely different, more intelligible way of presentation in comparison with the mature treatises of Kant.
In this publication, for the first time, equipped with detailed comments and an extensive scientific and reference apparatus Russian translation of Kant"s lectures according to logic, called "Viennese logic", is published. These lectures were given during the final work of the philosopher over "criticism of pure mind", and it was in them that Kant gave the most complete interpretation of the critical method he proposed.
Along with the text of Kant himself, the introduction shows the origins of disputes about the subject of logic in German education on the example of XP. Tomasia and xp. Wolf, demonstrated the problem of the gender nature of logic on the example of special logical manuals for women, gives a characteristic of the philosophical and logical teachings of G. F. Mayer, the textbook of which forms the basis of Kantian lectures according to logic, and also shows the modern significance of "Viennese logic" through the prism of non -classical problems logic of the 21st century
