Polyakhov N.N., Vetchinkin V.P. Theory and calculation of the air rowing screw. 2nd ed., Output, and adding the theory of a rowing screw in this book, on the basis of which the screws can be calculated. The theory of the ideal propeller, the jet theory of the rowing screw, the vortex theory of the rowing screw N.E. Zhukovsky are presented. Questions about the forces acting on the screw blades for any number of them, the issues of verification calculation and design of the screw according to the jet theory and the vortex theory of N. E. Zhukovsky, as well as ordinary and simplified calculation methods. The question of the effect of the compression of the jet on the work of the screw, the theory of the screw with the final number of blades and the test calculation of the screws with the final number of the blades are set out. The questions about the amendment of Prandtl-Goldstein, about the recounting of the screws from one ceiling to another, about calculating the screw taking into account the squeezing of the air, about calculating the screw, taking into account its mutual influence with the fuselage. Part 2 sets out methods for calculating the screw blades for static strength: bending, stretching, twisting, bending in the field of centrifugal forces, and on the joint effect of various loads. The method of selecting a screw archery under the condition of the best satisfaction of the requirements of aerodynamics and strength is given. Part 3 sets out the theory and the methods of calculating the highest (variation) screws are proposed, taking into account strength and high speeds at the ends of the blades both with infinitely large and the final number of them. The applications give graphs and tables that facilitate the calculations, as well as a comparison of the proposed approximate solutions with the blades accurate for deformations in the centrifugal forces field. The book is intended as a textbook for students - future specialists in air screws, as well as for engineers and scientists
