The monograph outlines the strategic role of lean production for the development of enterprises in the context of economic instability. The need to use lean production for the strategic development of industry, increasing operational efficiency, profitability, understanding of clear market demand, creating a mechanism for reducing costs and losses in the production process, increasing productivity, etc. is reflected.
The basis for a practical transition to lean production is proposed. The proposed structure is built as a design approach to implementation, consisting of four detailed stages.
The case of the transition of the production company from the current production model to the lean production model is presented.
