The shortest history of time

“The shortest history of time” is more than a prostrate commentary on complex concepts and theories described in the legendary “Brief History”. The authors, Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mlodinov, after 17 years, who changed a lot in astrophysics, look at eternal questions with a new look: about the nature of space and time, the role of God in the creation of the world, about the past and future of the Universe. The data obtained by astronomical observatories, cosmic telescopes and physical laboratories have become a firm support for theoretical physics, for several decades in a row, fighting for a harmonious, unified field theory, properly united all known types of interactions. According to many, this is the theory of strings, whose positions and consequences are expanded by professors Hawking and Mlodins. Black matter and black energy, about which we know only thanks to gravitational effects, time travel, which, as I believe the authors, “do not have to make bets” - all this was in the focus of their attention.
