The book is devoted to the main problem of modern Russia - the way out of the protracted stagnation in the economy and other areas of life of the country - science, education, culture, political activity - on the path of development.
The results of analysis of the development of the country during the years of the market, the current state of the economy, science and the political system, and the social aspects of life are presented.
The reasons for the decline and stagnation of Russia during the years of market reforms are shown. Particular attention is paid to the most important reasons: the outdated market ideology and liberal-monetarist economic model, the ineffective mechanism of public administration, the incompetence of liberal authority, unacceptable social inequality, unemployment and parasitism, crime and large-scale corruption, degradation of science, education and culture, and the deterioration of healthcare. Based on the analysis, the lessons of the history of Russia, economic, political, cultural development during the years of the market, conclusions about the causes of tragic events, factors in the development of economics, science and society are formulated.
