Scientific and educational activities are always controlled to one degree or another by the state. It is it that determines the goals of scientific and educational activities, the standards of education, the subject, structure and volume of the taught subjects. Since June 21 but 26, 1948, in Moscow, in the assembly hall of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, an all -Union meeting was held on Mokhova, which was initiated by the Central Committee of the All -Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks (b), which largely determined the development of logic in our country. Departments of logic were created at many universities, the logic sector at the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences, the very logical community of scientists in our country arose. At the meeting, a transcript was conducted, which is published for the first time and gives an idea of the difficult conditions of the functioning of science, including logic, in the conditions of a totalitarian state. Many problems posed at the meeting are urgent in our time - the place and role of logic in the formation of the personality of the future specialist, basic logical competencies, the creation of modern logic and theory of argumentation. In a monograph created by scientists of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology of the Moscow State Law University named after O. E. Kutafin (Moscow State University) and the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a study of the problems posed at a meeting was undertaken. The result of the study was the definition of through areas in the development of logical and logical and legal knowledge.
