The Chinese economy in light of the decisions of the 19th Congress of the Communist Party of China

In the collection of articles prepared on the basis of reports of the conference of the Center for Socio-Economic Research of China, the IDV RAS, held in April 2018, the situation in the economy of the PRC after the 19th Congress of the CCP (October 2017) in general and the industries is evaluated by prospects For the coming years. It is shown that a decrease in the rate of annual GDP growth with 9-11 % of the gross domestic product growth annually in 2002-2011. up to 6.9-7.9 % in 2012-2017. It is accompanied by the optimization of the economic structure, the inclusion of innovation growth in the scientific and technical field as the main engine, and the 1st place of the third sphere and the expansion of domestic demand. These measures allow to ensure the sustainable development of the Chinese economy higher than the average -Issue and sequentially reduce interregional differences and differences between the city and the village.
The significance of the projects of the "Economic Belting of the Silk Road" and the "Sea Silk Road of the XXI century" is revealed to reduce the excessive dependence of China on foreign trade in conditions of unstable phenomena in the global economy. Along with this, preserved internal problems of development were noted, including demographic (reducing the population in working age), environmental (critical deterioration of the state of the environment), a lack of energy and some types of mineral resources requiring radical decisions to ensure social and domestic political stability.
