The transition from paper media to digital, caused by the widespread use of information and telecommunication technologies, opens up prospects for working with a constantly increasing amount of information and the possibility of extracting knowledge from a weakly constructed data array. Despite the relatively short period of active use of digital media in the industry, the volume of data on them grows from year to geometric progression, which is a consequence of the transformation and transfer of data from various areas of human life into digital form. By 2016, the accumulated amount of data was estimated at 16 Zettabayt, but according to the forecasts of the analytical company IDC by 2025, the volume of all data will reach 163 Zettabait.
