Entropy - the measure of chaos - is one of the basic concepts of modern natural science. Having arisen in thermodynamics in the first half of the 19th century, the concept of entropy has found numerous applications in many branches of knowledge, including in other sections of physics, technology, computer science, biology, economics, and social sciences.
