In the summer of 2018, it became known about the most important discovery: the Antarctic telescope "Ice Cube" registered the neutrinos of high energy - that is, a particle that arose not in the atmosphere of the Earth, but most likely from the far cosmos. Neutrino can tell a lot about the structure of the universe, but these particles are extremely difficult to catch. It was to solve this problem at the South Pole for several decades that a grand neutrine telescope was built: in the purest Antarctic ice at a depth of one and a half to two kilometers, threads with sensitive detectors were hung, this is a real miracle of modern technologies and one of the most grandiose scientific projects in history.
