The problem of increasing the operational reliability of metal materials in products of engineering structures operating in conditions of creep and cyclic loads at elevated temperatures is considered. Based on the analytical review, the study of the theory of the issue, the systematization of experimental data, complex structural-mechanical and fractographic research, the main micromechanisms and patterns of the destruction of metals and alloys of various classes with high-temperature fatigue and creep are determined. Practical recommendations are given to increase the operational properties, stability of the mechanical properties and quality of parts from metals and alloys at elevated temperatures.
