What was right in the XVIII century, right now. At least in the growing of "edible vegetables". The Bolotovsky Garden of the Bolotovsky Garden series is inspired by the ideas of the outstanding Russian agronomist A. T. Bolotov (1738-1833) and is designed to contribute to the revival of the pre-revolutionary culture of gardening.
The third issue is dedicated to Russian beans. A century ago they were one of the most familiar garden plants, and now almost completely replaced by beans. At the same time, green, milky and vitality, garden beans are a real delicacy. Based on a wide range of sources, the authors talk about the traditions of growing and using beans in Russian, ancient and European culture.
