The training manual written in accordance with the State Educational Standard sets out the basics and systemic principles of regional economy management. The subject of study is the mechanisms for regulating socio-economic development at the national, interregional and regional levels, the rational use of resources, management of production complexes and markets. The theoretical foundations of the formation of regional policy, the possibility of using foreign experience in its implementation, are considered the role and methods of influencing the state on the economy of regions.
The training manual is recommended by the Council of the educational and methodological association of Russia"s universities on education in the field of management as a textbook in the specialty of "state and municipal management" for students, graduate students and teachers of economic universities, as well as scientists and practical specialists involved in problems territorial development.
