The transformation of microorganisms into cellular organelles is one of the main directions of biological evolution. For a long time, its mechanisms were inaccessible to experimental study. However, a genetic analysis of various symbiotic systems has opened the possibility to characterize the main stages of organellangenesis, as well as to clarify the molecular and environmental factors guiding this process. In the proposed monograph, an attempt was made to reconstruct the evolutionary routes that connect free -living and symbiotic microorganisms that preserve full -size genomes with cellular organelles with rudimentary genomes or completely deprived of them. The reconstruction of organeljunasis opens an opportunity to solve a number of general biological problems, including the occurrence of a cell and its genome, the evolutionary ratio of RNA and DNA genomes, as well as the formation of combined heredity systems, characteristic of various types of inter-organism interactions.
These systems will be represented by us as the subject of a new discipline - symothegenetics, the development of which showed that the factors of symbiosis evolution go far beyond the Darwin Paradigm of Evolution based on natural selection. Symbiosis systems are such mechanisms as Panenesis - the inheritance by the owner of symbiotic organisms as "well -made" genetic determinants, as well as interspecific altruism associated with the formation of symbiones, useful for hosts, but useless or even unfavorable for their owners.
On the basis of the results of the reconstruction of organeljunasis, the approaches of symbiotic engineering - the new area of biotechnology aimed at constructing the perdurganism complexes of agricultural, environmental and medical purposes will be proposed
