Rational groups

This book is devoted to the study of groups, multiplication in which is set by rational functions - linear algebraic, arbitrary algebraic and arbitrary linear groups. The book consists of three parts - in accordance with the three indicated sections of the theory of groups. Along with classic results, for the first time in the monographic literature, structural theorems about abstract algebraic groups, deep results about the structure of of the finite linear linear groups, and the theory of matrix representation of groups are presented. The presentation is completely closed, although the requirements for the reader are very moderate - enough possession of the university course in algebra and the basics of group theory.
The book is designed for mathematicians - graduate students and scientists, as well as for students of senior courses of universities and pedagogical institutes. It can serve as the basis for special courses and seminars
