The work is devoted to the crisis in the economic and historical sciences and areas of further development of political economy. Based on class analysis, a picture of the development of Russia from the second half of the XIX century to the present is given in the New World. Some mistakes of Marx, Engels and Lenin are analyzed and the fidelity of their main conclusions and research methods has been proved. The author returns to the assessment of the Great October Socialist Revolution as “working and peasant”, shows that in Russia the “revolutionary democratic dictatorship of the working class and peasantry” was established in Russia (and this is not only a new socio-economic formation, but also its new type ) It is proved that the state of the dictatorship of the proletariat declared by Stalin was the state of the dictatorship of a petty bourgeoisie under the bureaucratic administration, which was established during the creeping of the Stalinist counter -revolution. The pattern of the death of the dictatorship of the petty bourgeoisie and the prospects of the new global crisis, which begins before our eyes, is shown.
