The textbook is a combination of a theoretical course and a laboratory workshop, mutually complementing each other. The material according to the most important classes of organic compounds is presented according to the functional principle.
Tasks on the most important issues of the program are included in the textbook. Part of these tasks (about 150) is intended for independent extracurricular work of students directly in the course of studying theoretical material. Each chapter contains a wide set of tasks aimed at consolidating and developing educational material, as well as to monitor the assimilation of knowledge.
Laboratory workshop includes about 50 experimental experiments aimed at studying the chemical reactions important for the pharmaceutical specialty.
