Organic chemistry. Textbook

The textbook is a combination of a theoretical course and a laboratory workshop, mutually complementing each other. The material according to the most important classes of organic compounds is set out according to the functional principle. More than 150 tasks on the most important issues of the program are included in the publication. Even more tasks (about 250) are intended for independent extracurricular work of students directly during the study of theoretical material. For many tasks, answers or recommendations for a solution are given.
The textbook contains a glossary, including about 150 terms and definitions, intended for use as a criterion of competence and is indispensable for self -testing by students of their knowledge.
Laboratory workshop includes about 50 experiments that allow you to study chemical reactions important for pharmaceutical specialty.
In the second edition of the textbook, even more attention is paid to the nomenclature of organic formations. All names are given in accordance with the latest recommendations of the Nomenclature Commission of the Jupak. In addition, a section was introduced on international unequal names, taking into account the names of numerous medicines mentioned in the textbook.
