Nevovlidov geometry

The reader’s attention is offered a book by the famous German mathematician F. Klein. The first part sets out the foundations of projective geometry and the theory of projective transformations necessary for understanding the further sections of the book. The following shows how the concepts of Euclidean geometry can be introduced into the projective geometry, the relationships connecting elliptical and hyperbolic geometry with Euclidean geometry are described, the properties of non -Euclidean geometry are studied. The third part describes the history and application of non -Euclidean geometry, its attitude to other areas of mathematics.
