Nanocoatings and nanomaterials: Basics of production. Properties. Areas of application

This manual provides a classification of nan -sized structures, their properties are analyzed. Information about the manifestation of dimensional effects in physical, mechanical, thermal and other properties of nanostructural materials is summarized. The main methods of obtaining isolated nanoparticles, ultra -predisse powders, compact nanocrystalline, nanoporphic and amorphous materials, fullerenes, nanotubes, as well as nanostructural coatings are considered. Methods of research of nanostructural materials are briefly described.
