The textbook consists of three sections: I - standardization and management of product quality, II - interchangeability of typical compounds, III - the basics of metrology and metrological support of weapons and military equipment. It is based on the requirements of existing legal and regulatory acts, the recommendations of international standards in the field of product quality, metrology and standardization in the amount necessary for the qualified solution of metrological support for production, repair of mechanical engineering products. When presenting the material, the emphasis is on the most pressing problems associated with improving the quality of products, its level of competitiveness, marketing activity, etc.
The issues of standardization, interchangeability, metrology and metrological support of weapons and military equipment are set out. A unified system of tolerance and planting of smooth cylindrical compounds is given, the norms of interchangeability of typical joints of machines are set forth. Methods of substantiating the requirements for the accuracy of the main interfaces, standardization of geometric parameters of parts, assessing the accuracy of their manufacture and measurement, calculations of dimensions based on dimensional circuits and their use in the production of mechanical engineering products are given. The textbook contains the materials necessary for conducting training sessions: control issues, settlement and search tasks and detailed applications.
