The book is addressed to students who risk being enriched with knowledge on additional sections of mathematics provided for in master"s programs both in the Bologna and Anglo-American systems of higher professional education. The choice of additional sections and individual chapters is implicitly provided for the consumer audience of technological and engineering areas. The book will also be useful to teachers not only engineering and technical, but also humanitarian specialties. In the presentation of the material, unlike most such textbooks, the author sought to satisfy the requirements of the dialectical theory of knowledge, which received the updated name of Singapore mathematics. A distinctive feature of the book proposed is that the presentation is accompanied by many examples, questions for self -control and tasks for exercises. Another distinguishing feature of the book is the lack of abstractions from the history of mathematics, which are often stuffed with mathematics textbooks to the detriment of the strictness of the formulations of theorems, the beauty of their evidence and mental constructions. Finally, the third feature of our book is the complete absence of any computer applications and references to the latest mathematics sections, such as fuzzy logic, artificial neural networks and data analysis. We posted this material in a previous volume, where the reader will find many current computer applications.
