The monograph refers to the current area of mathematical modeling in modern tasks of dense plasma physics. Mathematical issues of magnetic gas dynamics are presented, numerical models of the corresponding physical processes are presented. When studying two-dimensional MGDs, special attention is paid to the role and modeling of the Hall effect. The features of the numerical solution of the MGD-Zadach are discussed. Examples of magnetic trap calculations to keep plasma and a detailed overview of the plasma acceleration models with a magnetic field in the channels are given.
