Theoretical approaches to the essence, conditions and factors to ensure sustainable development of small business in modern socio-economic conditions are revealed. The factors affecting the development of small businesses, methodological approaches and indicators for assessing the effectiveness of economic policy for sustainable development of small businesses are considered.
Analysis of the economic policy of developing small businesses of foreign countries and the Russian Federation, the trends and problems of ensuring the sustainable development of small businesses of the Baltic countries and Moscow agglomeration were identified.
Particular attention is paid to the problems of improving the efficiency of the regional economic policy for the development of small businesses. An economic and mathematical model of factors for the development of small businesses in the regions and tools for assessing the influence of factors on the sustainable development of entrepreneurship was developed.
