This textbook includes all issues of linear algebra and analytical geometry, included in the curriculum in the disciplines “Higher Mathematics” and “Mathematics” for students studying in economic, engineering, biological, agricultural and a number of other specialties of universities.
The book contains a table of contents, introduction, 11 chapters, conclusion, bibliographic list.
The book includes very important topics of linear algebra: matrices, determinants, systems of linear equations and the main topics of analytical geometry.
The training manual discusses the main geometric objects: points, lines, vectors, flat figures, surfaces, geometric bodies (cylinders, cones, etc), unmarled areas on the plane and space. The properties of these objects and their position in space are studied by algebra means based on the use of the coordinate method. The mutually unambiguous correspondence between the considered geometric objects and their analytical descriptions is shown. Mathematical models of lines on the plane and in space, surfaces and other geometric objects are given and justified: algebraic equations and systems of equations, inequality and their system.
The presentation of theoretical material on all topics is accompanied by detailed solutions of various examples of various difficulties. Explanations are given in an accessible form for students. The drawings given in the book help to learn the basic concepts of analytical geometry and linear algebra and solutions to the examples considered.
Designed for university students, whose curricula includes mathematical disciplines.
