Sofya Aleksandrovna Yanovskaya (1896-1966) --- Soviet mathematician, logician, philosopher, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences. Her works are devoted to the problems of history, methodology and philosophy of mathematics. S.A. Yanovskaya made a great contribution to the development of mathematical logic in our country: she gave lecture courses, together with I.I. Zhegalkin organized a research seminar in mathematical logic, and facilitated the creation of the department of mathematical logic at the Mechanical and Mathematics faculty of Moscow State University.
In this publication, readers are offered lectures by S.A. Yanovskaya according to the algebra of logic, which were read by her in the 1950s at the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University. These lectures were recorded and processed by B.V. Biryukov in the same years.
