Information is growing and filling our world at exponential speed. No libraries are no longer able to cover even thousandths of generated information. The flow of data and communication does not only overwhelm our being, it changes our thinking, our behavior, our society. Time to comprehend those new social and cognitive landscapes that are behind the concept of “information society”. The author - the philosopher, the publisher and specialist in the new media - puts forward the thesis about the coming of the era of the computational mind. In the present work, the ideas of philosophers and communicativeists are collected, who dealt with the problems of the birth of communication, language, communication.
