The basics of calculating the high-speed modes of induction heating are presented, taking into account the restrictions on thermal voltages in heated products, as well as the results of calculation and experimental studies of speed heating to increase the productivity of installations and the quality of manufactured products. The features of high-speed induction heating and thermal state of heated products are considered, taking into account the electro-, thermophysical and mechanical properties of materials. A methodology for choosing heating modes in several stages is proposed with the selection of the maximum permissible specific surface power and heating rate, which are calculated using the developed program package. A description of special designs of inducers and devices is given. Comparisons of the results of numerical modeling and physical experiments on industrial equipment are given.
