The training manual, which combines the functions of a textbook and a collection of tasks, gives a systematic idea of the conceptual-terminological base, theoretical concepts, methodological potential and applied capabilities of the disciplines “discrete mathematics”, “mathematical logic”, “discrete mathematics and mathematical logic”. The textbook is intended for students of higher educational institutions studying in the specialties Mathematics, Information Systems, Informatics, Computing Technology and Software.
The combination of the functions of the textbook and the collection of tasks is realized not so much by the parallel inclusion of theoretical information in it, which precedes the system of examples and exercises of each of the chapters, but at the expense of the productive combination of the cited prerequisites of the theoretical nature with the description of the means of methodological potential, technology and technology and technology and structures inherent in the practical component of these disciplines, and their demonstration implementation with numerous examples.
The book is quite accessible for independent study and can be recommended to both full -time students and students studying in absentia and using various opportunities for the distance learning system.
The manual is also of interest to undergraduates and teachers of logical-algebraic disciplines in the Higher School system, as well as for persons interested in an in-depth independent study of discrete mathematics and mathematical logic
