The book tells about the myths, cults and rituals of the inhabitants of the northern Black Sea region of the ancient era. As a rule, in the works devoted to this topic, religious beliefs of the Hellenes and Barbarians (Scythians, etc) are studied separately, but the author of this work considers them in the complex. This approach allows not only to trace the development of Hellenic traditions in the religious life of the population of Olbia, Chersonesos and the cities of the Bosporus of the Kimmerian, but also to identify its originality, due to the influence of the barbaric environment on beliefs and cults of the Greeks-colonists
