General Physics Course. Volume 1. Mechanics. Molecular Physics. Textbook

The three-volume course of general physics, created by the professor of the Moscow Engineering and Physical Institute, the Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the RSFSR, the laureate of the USSR State Prize I.V. Saveliev, introduces students to the main ideas and methods of physics. Particular attention is paid to the clarification of the meaning of physical laws and their conscious application. The first volume contains the presentation of the material on mechanics, molecular physics and thermodynamics.
The textbook is intended for technical universities with an extended physics program, but the presentation is built in such a way that, by lowering individual points, the book can be used for stoves with a regular program.
