The textbook from the series "Profile School" is intended to study the elective course of general pharmacology in the amount of 35 academic hours as part of the natural-scientific and universal learning profiles at the level of secondary general education. During the study of the course, students of grades 10-11 will get acquainted with the history of pharmacology, the basics of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, with the tasks of pharmacotherapy in the treatment and prevention of diseases. The manual introduces students to the nomenclature, terminology and classification of drugs, the principles of prescribing prescriptions.
The manual can be used in medical classes of general educational organizations, as well as to organize optional classes at the level of secondary general education.
