The theory of images and practical methods for its implementation when constructing geometric models are highlighted. To achieve this, general algorithms are considered to solve positional, metric tasks with the main methods and methods of converting a complex drawing, information about lines, planes and surfaces is presented, which contributes to a deeper understanding of the theoretical foundations of drawing geometry. The assimilation of educational material according to the logical scheme is proposed: questions for self -testing and problems for independent solution, studying information, testing knowledge, testing skills.
